Nora-Jane Noone (born 8 March 1984) is an Irish film and television actress best known for her role in ''The Magdalene Sisters'', where she played Bernadette.
==Early life and education==
Noone grew up in Newcastle, Galway, Ireland.〔(Always hiding in plain sight ) The Independent, 21 January 2013〕 Noone trained for two years at the Performing Arts School in Galway, and is a proficient musician (piano to Grade 7 level) and dancer. Her previous acting role before ''The Magdalene Sisters'' was as Jan in a secondary school production of "Grease".
She graduated in 2004 from NUI Galway with a degree in Science,〔http://nuigalway.ie/media/nuigalwayie/content/files/alumnifriendssupporters/conferringoct04.pdf〕 and then moved to London.〔(Always hiding in plain sight ) The Independent, 21 January 2013〕
